Quincy Info - Important! Empty Quincy Info - Important!

Post  Mukanshin Yamiyo Thu Jun 14, 2012 5:32 pm

Hello, spiritual archers!

Here's the rules for the Quincy! Also, since everyone's using it and understands it and supports it fairly well, instead of going with my original idea, I'll go with the 5 tier system--however, with this, I'll include a grade ranking, to further identify how well-trained you are at that level. Because, just setting someone as, say, "Tier 3," pigeon-holes them from advancing much farther, because they're already locked into that Tier. Instead, I'm going to use Tiers as natural abilities, and the ranks as how well-trained you are in that skill, within your ability level.

Rules:
---------
1: You don't have anything by default, other than your bow and the outfit you're given when you become a quincy. Don't just think you can become a quincy and instantly have something like Vollstandig. You have to train, or learn how to create things/preform quincy abilities/attacks.
2: Don't be a troll, or a jerk.
3: There is no 3, ...until I think of something else.

Tiers
===========
You have 30 points TOTAL that you can distribute to these various areas. (this is subject to change, I'm typing this in a rush) If you're a Quincy, list out these areas with your chosen number. Remember, the total of your numbers is not to exceed your point total.

Bow Mastery
-------------
0 = You couldn't even hit the broad side of a barn. You might as well just punch instead.

1 = You're a newbie with the Quincy bow. You're not terrible, but you still need a lot of practice, since you're accuracy is still pretty bad. You have no hope of using bow techniques with any real ability.

2 = You're decent with the Quincy bow, pretty much an average user. While there's still flaws in your technique and you could be better, you're nowhere near as bad as a newbie. However you're still pretty bad at using any bow techniques.

3 = The run-of-the-mill Quincy Bow user. Average is your middle name. Your accuracy is nothing to scoff at, and neither is your power. Your ability with the bow isn't perfect, but it's not bad at all, by any means. You're also fairly decent at using bow techniques.

4 = Your skills with the Quincy bow are exemplary! You hardly ever miss, and your shots pack quite a punch. You're great with using bow techniques and can summon and draw your bow slightly faster than the average quincy.

5 = You are at the pinnacle of Quincy Bow expertise! It's rare when you miss, and your shots can punch through targets, given enough force. You're an expert with using bow techniques, and can even develop your own, given the time. You also possess the ability to summon and draw your bow in the blink of an eye.

Speed/Agility - Excluding Hirenkyaku
------------
0 = You're so slow you might as well be going backward. You also have the balance of a newborn.

1 = So, you're not the slowest, or least coordinated Quincy of the bunch, but you might as well be. You can jog with humans decently.

2 = You're decent with speed, and fairly-well coordinated. You can outrun normal humans fairly easily, though sprinters might be able to catch up with you for a short time.

3 = You're faster than any human alive, and really-well coordinated, allowing you to preform feats of dexterity and maneuvers which would astonish any normal man. As Quincys go, you're right in the middle for speed and agility. Where some see a city, you see an obstacle course waiting to be tackled.

4 = Boy, you're fast! You can move around and jump and flip with the greatest of ease. Your aerial maneuvers are a sight to behold! You're so coordinated, you could keep your balance on a single finger, if you had to. You leave most Quincys in your dust when time comes to show your speed. Where some see a city, you see a playground.

5 = Your speed is nearly unmatched. With your agility, you can easily pinball off of one object to another in rapid succession and STILL be able to blast off attacks with each rebound! Where others see a city, you see--wait, what city? Hey, where did you go?! O_o

Hirenkyaku
-----------
0 = Don't trip over your own feet.

1 = Did you just jump?

2 = You have a pretty good grasp of the concept of Hirenkyaku and can execute it, but only at very short distances, and fairly slowly.

3 = You can preform Hirenkyaku with decent ability and decent speed. You're the average Quincy when it comes to Hirenkyaku, just barely outpacing Sonido, if you really try--unless they're far more powerful than you.

4 = Your Hirenkyaku is blazing fast. And your skill with it allows you to use it in rapid succession--to a degree--to get away from any attacks or enemies that you might come across. Only other Quincy can match your speed when using Hirenkyaku, Sonido and Shunpo fall just short.

5 = You can use Hirenkyaku like it's the easiest thing in the world--it's your second-nature. You can use it so fast, sometimes it appears that there are several of you standing around the battlefield, before they disappear one-by-one. Even other Quincy look like they're moving in slow-motion when you use Hirenkyaku.

Endurance
----------
0 = If you even get slapped you're headed to the hospital.

1 = You can't take very many hits, I mean, I suppose a regular human could take THAT much damage before needing an ambulance, right? There's no reason you should feel ashamed...

2 = You're about as durable as a regular Quincy--Which is far less durable than a hollow or a Shinigami.

3 = You've strengthened your body enough so that it can take a bit more punishment than the average Quincy, but you're still below the resilience of most Shinigami and hollow.

4 = You're quite resilient for a Quincy, you can take just as much punishment as any Shinigami or Hollow, or maybe even a little more.

5 = Only the Arrancar match your ability to take a beating and keep going. You might as well have your own Hierro, in addition to the Quincy equivalent.

Strength
---------
0 = You're very weak physically.

1 = You're a bit weaker than the average human.

2 = You're about as strong as the average human.

3 = You're about as strong as the average Quincy.

4 = You're very strong! It's almost strange that you use a bow, given your natural strength. Stronger hollows could still overpower you though.

5 = You're a beast. You're so strong you might as well run around saying "QUINCY SMASH!" Only powerful hollows and powerful shinigami rival your strength.

Defense
---------
0 = You might as well be made of glass.

1 = Your ability to defend against attacks is slightly lower than the average human.

2 = Your defense is about that of the average human.

3 = Your defense is average for a Quincy, while you're much better at avoiding attacks with your speed and agility, you can use your bow, or arrows, to deflect minor attacks, punches, and sword strikes--if you have the accuracy.

4 = Your ability to defend against attacks with your bow is amazing, it might as well be an extension of your arm. You can also pick off attacks, or push sword strikes or punches back with arrows. Your melee ability with your bow itself is impressive.

5 = Your defenses are almost impenetrable! If you miss an attack with an arrow, or your arrows don't pack enough punch to deflect it, with a properly-angled swing of your bow, you can deflect the attack with ease. While you'd still much rather be dodging, you realize the need to be able to defend against attacks that make it around your speed.

Reiatsu (overlaps slightly with Bow Mastery, and a little with Defense)
--------
0 = You have almost zero ability with Reiatsu. You're just barely able to materialize your bow and arrows.

1 = You can form your bow and arrows decently, but not fast by any means, and forget about using any other Quincy abilities.

2 = You can form your bow and arrows with decent speed, but you can't really charge them up, or shoot them very fast. You're also moderately capable of using other Quincy abilities.

3 = The average Quincy! You can form your bow and arrows at will, in no time at all, and you can charge up your arrows to deal increased damage. You can also gather extra Reiatsu to shoot slightly weaker arrows in rapid succession. You also have good ability with other Quincy attacks that don't rely on your bow.

4 = You can summon your bow in the blink of an eye, and summon arrows just as fast. You have exemplary ability with all Quincy abilities you train in, and your ability to absorb Reiatsu is increased. Should you need a little boost, you can tear apart some of the surrounding spiritual energies and pull them in to boost your attacks and abilities should you need to, though, only to minor degrees.

5 = Your dominance over Reiatsu is amazing. Your bow and arrows are like any other part of your body. All Quincy known and trained Quincy abilities are second-nature to you, and you can absorb Reiatsu at a quickened pace. Also, your ability to tear apart some of the surrounding spiritual energies is enhanced, causing anything made of spiritual particles to be in danger when around you. You can tear apart the bonds between these spiritual particles in a large around around you, and pull them in, absorbing them to boost your attacks to a great degree.

Ginto Mastery
--------
0 = You have basically no skill with using Ginto at all, forget about trying to create your own.

1 = You have a slight ability to use Ginto, however it's not with any real proficiency But, you still lack the ability to create your own.

2 = You have a moderate ability with Ginto, slightly less than the average Quincy, and you can create replacement Ginto of your own--however, it will take you a while.

3 = You have an average ability with Ginto, your proficiency is pretty good, and if needed you can create replacement Ginto at a fairly decent speed.

4 = You excel in the use and creation of Ginto. Creating Ginto takes a very short time. In addition, you Ginto-required abilities pack a strong punch!

5 = Your use of Ginto is unparalleled! You can create new Ginto at the snap of a finger, and your abilities that require Ginto use are incredibly powerful! In addition, you have the knowledge to use the compressed spiritual energy within Ginto to increase the power of any non-Ginto attack!

======
======

In addition to this, you have Rank F through S for each area, showing how well-trained you are in each skill. Only the Quincy Elder, or Elite Quincy (when the target is a regular Quincy ONLY) can raise your Rank through supervised training. All new Quincy start at Rank F in all skills, regardless of natural ability.

Nah, it's fine. That suggestion was made before I added that (it's the reason I remembered to add it)

Here are my Tiers:

Bow Mastery: 5

You're an expert with using bow techniques, and can even develop your own, given the time. You also possess the ability to summon and draw your bow in the blink of an eye.

Strength: 3

Defense: 4
Your ability to defend against attacks with your bow is amazing, it might as well be an extension of your arm. You can also pick off attacks, or push sword strikes or punches back with arrows. Your melee ability with your bow itself is impressive.

Reiatsu: 5

Ginto: 3
You have an average ability with Ginto, your proficiency is pretty good, and if needed you can create replacement Ginto at a fairly decent speed.

Depending on the skill's Tier I will be able to train/master it easier?
