Mashi - Custom Zanpakutou Application
Zanpakutou Name: Mashi (Mercy)
Zanpakutou Call: Give to take
Bankai Name: Taii Mashi (Abdicated Mercy)
Zanpakutou Type: Distortion

Shikai Abilities
Ability 1 - Mashi's first ability is passively used, by releasing the blade. It doubles all offensive and defensive strength of anyone within 250 yards for a total of 10 IC minutes. For the following 10 minutes, however, all of their defensive and offensive strength are halved. The effect will not be negated by sealing the blade- only by holding the blade's handle can the effects be negated.
Ability 2 - By calling out "Revoke mercy", the wielder can reduce the offensive and defensive strength of whoever is holding the Zanpakutou to one-half for ten minutes. The wielder does not need to be holding the Zanpakutou to utilize this technique.

Ability 1 - The primary ability of Taii Mashi is nearly identical to Mashi itself. The only differences are in range and duration. The range increases to 500 yards, while the strength increase is reduced to a duration of five minutes. The duration of the strength decrease is extended to twenty minutes.
Ability 2 - The secondary ability changes in magnitude alone- The strength of the one holding the Zanpakutou is decreased to one-fourth upon the wielder calling "Abdicate mercy".

It sounds a bit weird. You double the offensive and defensive abilities for 10 minutes...and at the same time you halve the offensive and defensive abilities for 10 minutes. Essentially...your ability does nothing.

Please describe the abilities better, it honestly makes no sense and there's no reasoning behind the sudden buffs and nerfs on a character's strength. Also, I see no reason for you to be able to alter other people's strengths.

Lemme explain more clearly - It doesn't double and halve their power, it doubles THEN halves their power. Kind of a trade off, ten minutes twice as strong followed by ten minutes at half strength. As for the how could I affect their power bit, I suppose I kind of explained that wierd. I'm not actually making them any stronger, its simply that anyone affected by the ability will find that for the next ten minutes the magnitude of their defensive and offensive abilities double. Like if it was an arrancar, they'd find that for ten minutes their hierro can take twice as much damage, and their ceros have twice the destructive capabilities. For the ten minutes after that, the opposite would be true, their hierro would only be able to defend against half as much damage as normal, and their cero would have half their usual destructive force. Its not affecting their actual strength, merely the magnitude of their offensive and defensive abilities. Hope that made it at least a little clearer. I feel like I just made it harder to understand though. w.w
