Ryukai's Custom Zanpakatou

Ryukai rarely uses his shikai, because he doesn't like its ability, regardless of its usefulness.

Shikai Abilities

Ability 1 - Akuakakudai is capable of freezing water, and thawing ice. He can use this to a multitude of effects, but when put to its main use, its effect is increased drastically. That use is freezing the water moisture in a crack to cause it to enlarge and break the object it is on. It can be used most effectively where there is much humidity, or a lake, and only usable in a desert area if he has brought water with him.

Ability 2 - Akuaburasuto is an ability that gathers all near water, condenses it into a ball, and fires it with considerable force at the target. It will cause much damage upon impact, along with releasing all the water, causing a flood if there was a large enough source, and it is aimed at the right spot.

Shikai Qualities: Akuakakudai transforms into a scythe, with a blue blade. The blade glows an eerie black when its ability is being used, giving a warning as to when the ability is going to come into effect.

Bankai Abilities

Ability 1 - Furu Akuakakudai retains its abilities from its shikai, and gains Mizukakudai, an ability which allows the expansion of water, giving Ryukai approximately triple what is originally available.

Ability 2 - Korihitsugi is an ability which freezes expanded water moisture around the target, before sending countless threads of ice shooting through it, critically harming anyone too slow to dodge while inside. The threads cause minimal damage, but the quantity makes it potentially deadly. They will disappear soon after encountering the body heat of the target, meaning if it misses, its unlikely to obstruct their attempts to dodge more after.

Bankai Qualities: Furu Akuakakudai gains a second blade, below the first, and no longer glows when its abilities are being used.
